You’re probably thinking, “Who the hell is this kid, and what is this site!”
I’m kind of asking myself the same question, but in a nut shell…
I Graduated from St Helens College of Arts in 2008 after completing a BA with Honours in Digital Graphic Design. From there, I thought I’d end up being some kind of Graphic Designer so I acquired the domain michaelwhittle.co.uk as a way to showcase my work to potential employers.
Fast forward to 2018 and I don’t work in the design industry, but I do train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu where I strut my stuff wearing a nice shiny blue belt.
I have trained on and off in BJJ due to work/family/social situations but if I added my time together it would equate to around four years (I’ve never really thought about the time before and it’s pretty scary).
Anyways… When I do manage to get down and train, I frequently hear my training partners talking about competing, what they have registered in and whether there are any more competitions coming up. So for this reason I have decided (after couple of beers… I mean a handful of Acai) to set up a one-stop-shop of any UK based BJJ Events and Seminars that I hear of.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy!
Thanks… I mean, Osssss
